प्रधानमंत्री सुरक्षित मातृत्व अभियान में मध्यप्रदेश को मिलेगा अवार्ड

मातृ मृत्यु दर घटने पर अवार्ड सेरेमनी का दिया आमंत्रण 

भोपाल। मध्यप्रदेश को प्रधानमंत्री सुरक्षित मातृत्व अभियान के तहत मातृ मृत्यु दर कम करने पर पुरस्कृत किया जायेगा। इसके लिये केन्द्रीय स्वास्थ्य और परिवार कल्याण मंत्री जगत प्रकाश नड्डा ने मध्यप्रदेश के लोक स्वास्थ्य एवं परिवार कल्याण मंत्री रुस्तम सिंह को पत्र लिखकर 29 जून को होने वाली अवार्ड सेरेमनी के लिये आमंत्रित किया है। केन्द्रीय मंत्री श्री नड्डा ने मध्यप्रदेश के स्वास्थ्य विभाग और स्वास्थ्य मंत्री श्री सिंह को इसके लिये बधाई भी दी है। प्रधानमंत्री सुरक्षित मातृत्व अभियान देश में 3 करोड़ से अधिक गर्भवती महिलाओं को प्रसव के पहले देखभाल की गुणवत्ता सुनिश्चित करने के लिये शुरू किया गया है।

राज्य शासन द्वारा प्रदेश में मातृ मृत्यु दर को कम करने के प्रयास अब सार्थक परिणाम देने लगे हैं। भारत के रजिस्ट्रार जनरल कार्यालय द्वारा वर्ष 2014 से 2016 तक के विशेष बुलेटिन में मध्यप्रदेश में मातृ मृत्यु में 48 अंकों की अभूतपूर्व गिरावट दर्ज हुई है। प्रदेश में वर्ष 2011-13 में मातृ मृत्यु दर 221 थी, जो अब घटकर मात्र 173 रह गई है। प्रदेश में पिछले तीन वर्षों में 22 प्रतिशत की उल्लेखनीय गिरावट दर्ज की गई है।

संस्थागत प्रसव, ए.एन.एम., आँगनबाड़ी कार्यकर्ता, दस्तक अभियान आदि निरंतर जारी विभिन्न जागरूकता कार्यक्रमों के परिणाम अब आने लगे हैं। आने वाले वर्षों में यह गिरावट और अधिक स्पष्ट होगी। स्वास्थ्य संस्था स्तर से लेकर समुदाय स्तर तक प्रभावी प्रयास किये जा रहे हैं। लोगों को जागरूक किया गया है कि गर्भ का पता चलते ही शीघ्र स्वास्थ्य केन्द्र में गर्भधात्री महिला का पंजीयन करवायें। इससे प्रसव के पहले आवश्यक जाँचें, टीकाकरण, खून की कमी आदि का उपचार होने के साथ ही अन्य जटिलताओं पर काबू पाने में आसानी हुई है।

मध्यप्रदेश में उच्च जोखिम प्रसव की संभावनाओं वाली महिलाओं का नियमित फॉलोअप करके उनका सुरक्षित प्रसव कराने के प्रयास किये जा रहे हैं। शासकीय स्वास्थ्य संस्थाओं में खून की कमी वाली गर्भवती महिलाओं को आयरन टेबलेट्स और अत्यधिक खून की कमी होने पर आयरन के इंजेक्शन दिये जा रहे हैं। जरूरत पड़ने पर गर्भवती महिलाओं को खून भी चढ़ाया जा रहा है। स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं का नियमित पर्यवेक्षण किया जा रहा है। स्वास्थ्य संस्थाओं में नर्सिंग सेवा की गुणवत्ता बढ़ाने के उद्देश्य से नर्सिंग मेंटर्स की तैनाती की गई है।
