दस दिन के अंदर कार्यपूर्ण करने के दिये निर्देश

पन्ना। रडार न्यूज  पन्ना शहर को पेयजल आपूर्ति करने वाले सबसे बड़े तालाब लोकपाल सागर को भरने के लिए कुड़िया नाला डायवर्जन का कार्य इन दिनों प्रगति पर है। इस बरसाती नाले के पानी को फिजूल बहने से रोकने और उससे लोकपाल सागर की प्यास बुझाने के उद्देश्य से नहर बनाई जा रही है। कलेक्टर मनोज खत्री की विशेष पहल पर लोकपाल सागर तालाब के गहरीकरण के साथ ही उसे निर्धारित क्षमता तक भरने का कार्य एक साथ चल रहा है। रविवार को कलेक्टर श्री खत्री द्वारा सुबह-सुबह लोकपाल सागर पहुंचकर गहरीकरण कार्य का पहाड़कोठी में चल रहे कुड़िया नाला नहर निर्माण का अवलोकन किया गया। इस दौरान उन्होंने निर्माण एजेन्सी प्रमुख कार्यपालन यंत्री ग्रामीण यांत्रिकी सेवा संभाग पन्ना को लोकपाल सागर तालाब में जलभराव बढ़ाने के लिए कुडिया नाला डायवर्जन का कार्य 10 दिन के अन्दर पूर्ण करने के निर्देश दिए। उल्लेखनीय है कि इस प्रचीन तालाब के गहरीकरण कार्य में नगरवासी भी बढ़-चढ़कर हिस्सा ले रहे है। अब तक गणमान्य नागरिकों और जनप्रतिनिधियों ने तालाब के जीर्णोद्धार के लिए अपनी ओर से आर्थिक सहयोग और मशीनरी उपलब्ध कराई है। लोकपाल सागर तालाब पन्ना शहर की आधी से अधिक आबादी की पेयजल और निस्तार हेतु पानी की जरूरत को पूरा करता है। इसके अलावा पन्ना के समीपी करीब दर्जनभर गांवों के किसान इस तालाब के पानी से अपने खेतों की सिंचाई करते है। झीलनुमा लोकपाल सागर को भरने के लिए बनी किलकिला फीडर नहर के दोनों तरफ जबरदस्त अतिक्रमण होेने तथा नहर के ध्वस्त हो जाने के कारण बारिश का पानी इसमें नहीं पहुंच पा रहा है। परिणामस्वरूप पिछले दो दशक से भी अधिक समय से लोकपाल सागर तालाब में निर्धारित क्षमता तक जलभराव न होने के कारण अल्पवर्षा की स्थिति में किसानों और लोगों को पानी की किल्लत का सामना करना पड़ता है। कुड़िया नाला से होकर निकलने वाली नहर से लोकपाल सागर तालाब के जलभराव में वृद्धि होने की उम्मीद की जा रही है।
