भोपाल। मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने जबलपुर में भेड़ाघाट के समीप विराट हॉस्पिस में कैंसर पीड़ित मरीजों की नि:स्वार्थ भाव से की जा रही सेवा को अनुकरणीय बताते हुए इस तरह के प्रकल्पों को गैर-सरकारी संगठनों के सहयोग से प्रदेश के अन्य स्थानों पर भी प्रारंभ करने की मंशा व्यक्त की है। श्री चौहान जबलपुर में वरिष्ठ पत्रकार संजय सिन्हा के साथ ब्रह्मर्षि मिशन समिति द्वारा संचालित विराट हॉस्पिस पहुँचे थे। मुख्यमंत्री ने इस मौके पर विराट हॉस्पिस में इलाज और देख-रेख के लिए भर्ती सभी 24 कैंसर रोगियों से भेंट कर उनकी कुशल क्षेम जानी। मुख्यमंत्री ने कैंसर से जीवन की जंग लड़ रहे इन मरीजों का गुलाब का फूल भेंटकर हौसला भी बढ़ाया।

विराट हॉस्पिस में कैंसर से पीड़ित मरीजों की सेवा से अभिभूत मुख्यमंत्री ने संस्थान की संचालक और ब्रह्मर्षि मिशन समिति की प्रमुख साध्वी ज्ञानेश्वरी दीदी से भेंट की और आशीर्वाद लिया। श्री चौहान ने गंभीर और असाध्य माने जाने वाले कैंसर रोगियों की यहां की जा रही सेवा के कार्य को अद्भुत एवं अतुलनीय बताया। उन्होंने कहा कि इस तरह के प्रकल्पों को प्रदेश के अन्य स्थानों पर प्रारंभ करने के लिए ब्रह्मर्षि मिशन समिति के सहयोग से एवं साध्वी ज्ञानेश्वरी दीदी के मार्गदर्शन में कार्य-योजना तैयार की जायेगी। मुख्यमंत्री को बताया गया कि पिछले पाँच वर्षों में करीब 900 से अधिक कैंसर रोगियों की इस संस्थान में सेवा की जा चुकी है। संस्थान में आने वाले अधिकांश ऐसे कैंसर रोगी गरीब परिवारों के होते हैं। इन मरीजों को संस्थान में नि:शुल्क इलाज के साथ आध्यात्मिक वातावरण भी उपलब्ध करवाया जाता है। मुख्यमंत्री श्री चौहान ने विराट हॉस्पिस के सेवा कार्यों को देखते हुए इसे शासन द्वारा प्रारंभ किये गये आनंदम विभाग की गतिविधियों से जोड़ने की बात भी कही।

मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान जबलपुर में बह्मर्षि मिशन समिति के सेवा के प्रकल्प ग्वारीघाट में गरीब परिवारों के मेधावी बच्चों को प्रशस्ति पत्र दिये।

मुख्यमंत्री ने ब्रह्मर्षि मिशन समिति के सेवा के एक और प्रकल्प ग्वारीघाट में गरीब परिवारों के बच्चों के लिए संचालित शाला के मेधावी बच्चों से भी भेंट की। उन्होंने इन बच्चों को प्रशस्ति-पत्र प्रदान करते हुए खूब मेहनत करने और आगे की पढ़ाई की चिंता सरकार पर छोड़ने की बात कही। उन्होंने कहा कि गरीब परिवारों के इन बच्चों की उच्च शिक्षा का खर्च शासन उठाएगा। मुख्यमंत्री ने विराट हॉस्पिस में गुणवत्तापूर्ण विद्युत की आपूर्ति के लिए ट्रांसफार्मर स्थापित करने तथा संस्थान तक पहुँच मार्ग के निर्माण के निर्देश भी अधिकारियों को दिये। विराट हॉस्पिस आने पर साध्वी ज्ञानेश्वरी दीदी द्वारा मुख्यमंत्री का शाल और श्रीफल भेंटकर सम्मान भी किया गया। इस अवसर पर विधायक श्रीमती प्रतिभा सिंह, समाजसेवी नरेश ग्रोवर, सांवलदास, कमल ग्रोवर, वरिष्ठ पत्रकार रवीन्द्र वाजपेई और नगर पंचायत के पूर्व अध्यक्ष अनिल तिवारी भी मौजूद थे ।

मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने अपने जबलपुर प्रवास के दूसरे दिन आज पूर्व विधानसभा अध्यक्ष स्व. श्री ईश्वरदास रोहाणी के जन्म दिवस पर सर्किट हाउस के समीप स्थित उनकी प्रतिमा पर माल्यार्पण कर श्रृद्धा सुमन अर्पित किये। मुख्यमंत्री ने कार्यक्रम में केंट विधानसभा क्षेत्र के मेधावी बच्चों का सम्मान किया तथा गरीब परिवारों की महिलाओं को सिलाई मशीनें एवं दिव्यांगों को ट्राइसिकल दी। कार्यक्रम में चिकित्सा शिक्षा राज्य मंत्री शरद जैन, समाजसेवी डॉ. जीतेन्द्र जामदार, विधायक अशोक रोहाणी और विजय रोहाणी मौजूद थे।
