राष्ट्रीय कृषि एवं मनरेगा समिति की पहली कार्यशाला भोपाल में 6 अगस्त को
भोपाल । नीति आयोग की राष्ट्रीय कृषि एवं मनरेगा समिति के अध्यक्ष तथा मध्यप्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान की अध्यक्षता में आज नई दिल्ली में समिति की पहली बैठक आयोजित की गई। बैठक में उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री आदित्यनाथ योगी सहित नीति आयोग के मुख्य कार्यपालन अधिकारी अमिताभ कांत और नीति आयोग तथा राज्यों के अधिकारी मौजूद थे। समिति के अध्यक्ष श्री चौहान ने बिहार और गुजरात राज्य के मुख्यमंत्रियों से वीडियो कांफ्रेसिंग के माध्यम से विभिन्न विषयों पर चर्चा की। पश्चिम बंगाल और आंध्रप्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्रियों ने समिति को पत्र के माध्यम से सुझाव प्रेषित किये।
श्री चौहान ने बैठक में कहा कि किसानों की आय को दोगुना करने में मनरेगा की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका है। कृषि में लागत कम करने और उत्पादन बढ़ाने तथा अपरिहार्य परिस्थिति में फसलों के नुकसान की भरपाई जैसे संवेदनशील मुद्दों पर विचार किया जाना आवश्यकहै। उन्होंने बताया कि कृषि को लाभकारी व्यवसाय बनाने तथा किसानों की आय को दोगुना करने में मनरेगा की भूमिका पर विस्तार से विचार-विमर्श के लिये विभिन्न राज्यों में कार्यशालाएँ आयोजित की जायेंगी। कार्यशालाओं में किसान संगठनों और आम जनता से भी राय ली जायेगी। आयोग की पहली कार्यशाला आगामी 6 अगस्त को भोपाल में होगी। श्री चौहान ने कहा कि लखनऊ, पटना, गुवाहाटी और हैदराबाद में भी कार्यशालाएँ आयोजित की जायेंगी।
मुख्यमंत्री श्री चौहान ने बताया कि समिति की 31 अगस्त को दिल्ली में बैठक होगी, जिसमें समिति के निर्णयों का प्रारूप तैयार किया जायेगा। श्री चौहान ने बताया कि प्रारूप के आधार पर ही समिति नीति आयोग को अपनी अंतिम रिपोर्ट प्रस्तुत करेगी। ज्ञातव्य है कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर कृषि में मनरेगा की भूमिका पर समन्वित नीतिगत दृष्टिकोण और अनुशंसाएँ प्राप्त करने के लिये इस समिति का गठन किया है। मध्यप्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री श्री चौहान को समिति का अध्यक्ष मनोनीत किया गया है। समिति में सात अन्य प्रदेशों के मुख्यमंत्री और संबंधित विभाग प्रमुख शामिल हैं।
