केन्द्रीय कृषि मंत्री श्री सिंह ने नई दिल्ली में दिया पुरस्कार
भोपाल। मध्यप्रदेश को समग्र कृषि पैदावार में सर्वश्रेष्ठ प्रदर्शन के लिये शनिवार को नई दिल्ली में सर्वश्रेष्ठ राज्य के पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया। केन्द्रीय कृषि मंत्री राधामोहन सिंह ने यह पुरस्कार इंडिया टुडे पत्रिका के एग्रो समिट एण्ड अवार्ड-2018 समारोह में प्रदान किया। किसान-कल्याण एवं कृषि विभाग के संचालक श्री मोहनलाल ने प्राप्त किया। समग्र कृषि पैदावार में मध्यप्रदेश पहले स्थान पर, उड़ीसा दूसरे, तेलंगाना तीसरे, आंध्रप्रदेश चौथे और महाराष्ट्र पाँचवें स्थान पर रहा है।
इण्डिया टुडे एग्रो अवार्ड के लिये मध्यप्रदेश को कई कसौटियों पर कसा गया। देश के कृषि विशेषज्ञों ने विभिन्न राज्यों की कृषि सांख्यिकी का अध्ययन किया। इसके बाद यह निष्कर्ष निकला कि मध्यप्रदेश ने वर्ष 2015-16 में गेहूँ की पैदावार बढ़ाने में खास उपलब्धि हासिल की है। प्रदेश में गेहूँ की उत्पादकता 176.80 लाख टन रही है। प्रति हेक्टेयर गेहूँ की उत्पादकता 2,993 किलोग्राम तक पहुँच गई है।
अवार्ड कार्यक्रम में बताया गया कि मध्यप्रदेश देश का वह राज्य है, जिसने खेती में अपना जबरदस्त प्रदर्शन बरकरार रखा है। राज्य सरकार के कृषि पैदावार के आँकड़े बताते हैं कि खराब दौर में भी मध्यप्रदेश ने कृषि विकास में दोहरे अंकों की वृद्धि दर कायम रखी। समारोह में बताया गया कि केन्द्र सरकार के कृषि और किसान विकास मंत्रालय की ओर से कृषि विकास के लिये दिया जाने वाला कृषि कर्मण अवार्ड पिछले 5 साल से मध्यप्रदेश को मिल रहा है।
समारोह में बताया गया कि कृषि के समग्र विकास के लिये यह जरूरी है कि खेती से जुड़े तमाम पहलुओं पर एक साथ काम किया जाये। मध्यप्रदेश ने पिछले एक दशक में यही किया है। मध्यप्रदेश में सिंचाई का रकबा बढ़ाने की सतत कोशिश की गई है। प्रदेश में 700 छोटी सिंचाई परियोजनाओं को वर्ष 2018 के अंत तक पूरा करने का कार्यक्रम बनाया गया है। कृषि केबिनेट जैसी व्यवस्था ने भी मध्यप्रदेश को कृषि में अव्वल बनाये रखा है।
