पन्ना। उत्तर वन मंडल के देवेन्द्रनगर परीक्षेत्र अंतर्गत विक्रमपुर के जंगल में भीषण आज लग गई। आगजनी की घटना दोपहर करीब 12 बजे आग विक्रमपुर नर्सरी के समीप ही लगी थी। ग्रामीणों ने इसकी सूचना वन विभाग को दी। लेकिन हड़ताल के चलते कोई वनकर्मी यहां नहीं पहुंचा और शाम करीब 4 बजे तक आग ने विकराल रूप ले लिया। बताया जाता है
कि आग जंगल से बढ़ते हुए विक्रमपुर के प्लांटेशन तक पहुंच गई। इस भीषण आगजनी में प्लांटेशन के सभी पौधे जलकर राख हो गए। विभागीय सूत्रों से पता चला है कि कैम्पा मद के इस प्लांटेशन में अब तक करीब 30 लाख रूपये खर्च हो चुके थे। आग की इस वृहद घटना की सूचना तक वरिष्ट अधिकारियों को नहीं थी। मीडियाकर्मियों ने जब डीएफओ उत्तर वन मंडल से संपर्क किया तो उन्होंने जानकारी नहीं होने की बात कही। जिससे कि देर शाम तक आग बुझाने की कार्रवाही तक शुरू नहीं हुई थी। इस प्रचण्ड अग्निकाण्ड में विक्रमपुर प्लांटेशन के पूरी तरह जलकर राख होने की खबर मिली है। हालांकि विभागीय अधिकारियों ने इसकी पुष्टी नहीं की है।
